Well I've got nobody to dance with I've got no boy to hold my hand The sun goes down I'll take off my dressing gown And reveal I'm a big girl now Well I know this band I'm a pretty big fan I've got a crush on the front man But he's too old for me as it seems My father would scream at the thought of him and me I'm a little Stevie in search of a hive I'm a dragon fly with a sting on my behind Well I've got no man or money I spent all my money on my car for running I met someone in a lonely tavern But it seems I just don't know where to grab him Well I'm here all alone on this Friday night Feeling sick and I'm rugged up oh so tight No-one has called me and I don't think that's funny I stare at the wall with disprin brandy and honey I'm a little greeny in search of a hive I'm a dragon fly with a sting on my behind Got this band wrote their names in the sand They’re a few riffs short of that rock and roll sound But I crank up the living room stereo and I practice my windmills round and around Til my housemates come they turn it down When your a little Stevie well your lonely and hungry Out of work sick of school, and you’re fresh out of love luck and money But you feel it so strong that you put it on a song And you get up on a stage and you sing it all the way I'm a little Stevie in search of a hive I'm a dragon fly with a sting on my behind I'm a little Stevie in search of a hive I'm a dragon fly with a sting on my behind

Dear Daniel 02:54
Dear Daniel You achieved absolute surprise when I peeped inside my little letter box to find Dear Daniel I was wrong when I thought that you wouldn't reply Cause you wrote back with an envelope of sunshine Well it's funny how someone can bring you so much joy And they may not even know they’re yours Well I'm just happy that we met at all Cause that's you for me and that's me for you, woah Dear Grandma Well I saw you as you were 17 In my bedroom where you danced just like a queen Dear Grandma You’re as happy as the eye can see And my dear Grandpa sends a kiss from above to your cheek Well it's funny how someone can bring you so much joy And they may not even know they’re yours Well I'm just happy that we met at all Cause that's you for me and that's me for you, woah Shoo be doo doo doo, doo doo doo Shoo be doo doo doo, doo doo doo Shoo be doo doo doo doo, doo be doo doo, be doo doo X4

I’ve never known you in the summer on those long hot summer days And I've never known you in the morning with the sun upon your face But I believe when you return those long days will come again And we can stay in bed til midday when we've woken up at 10 And it's just like in that Lucksmiths song And I realise it's you I've been missing all along I miss those summer evenings playing guitar with Mitchy in the park Man you should see us sitting, strumming in that itchy grass til it gets dark And we'll be heading out but not before we've danced all around the living room And I can't decide if you've come back too late or whether you've come back to soon And it's just like in that Lucksmiths song And I realise it's you I've been missing all along There's a novel by my bed with a postcard for bookmark baby that's the one you sent I just wanted you to know I get this special kind of sadness when I walk around the places we went and talked She'd have to be a lot like you So let's go dancing through some garden with bare feet to that music from the sky And we can laugh at all the people as they walk and pass us by I sometimes think that maybe everything seems bigger in my head But then I think that I could fill the sea with all the things you've said And it's just like in that Lucksmiths song And I realise it's you I've been missing all along

The people you meet and the things they know You call into life when you're ready to grow So why did life suggest they meet Why did he come into hers? He's been a traveller and he's seen the world But she's only just starting off with hers He teaches her to be patient and brave And he does this without saying a word You just got to be strong and brave And you just got to go your way Cause you'll get there, oooo you'll get there He runs on the rocks, he don't paddle too far It drives them crazy cause they think he's lazy But they don't see that this demonstrates Just simply an alternative way She looks up to him and think to herself 'man, I'm gonna be like that some day' You just got to be strong and brave And you just got to go your way Cause you'll get there, oooo you'll get there She heard her voice as it floated it sound like an earth song, oh so loud This one’s been through thick and thin She had to change her way of living She was blessed with an open mind and she could adapt to any human kind Now everyday is a gift to her and she's just trying to spread the word You just got to be strong and brave And you just got to go your way Cause you'll get their, oooo you'll get there

about

Our first studio recorded EP, featuring our self titled smash hit 'Little Stevie'. This recording played a big role in getting us our first festival appearances, generating our first income for the band and introduced us to the world of radio.

We were still an acoustic outfit when we made this, so we recruited one of our parents to play drums for us in the recording and realised then that there was no going back.
